Dada let me drive for some of the trip. For some reason my steering wheel didn't have much effect on the car.
This is how I was for most of the driving. I think Mama preferred it that way.
While we were staying in Boise we went to see the Richens. That is Nate and Max. They were very nice and let me play with them on their swings.
Ashley is holding Danny (baby of the Richens) and Adam is trying to eat my neck. I think he has been watching too many vampire movies.

We left Boise on Monday and stopped in Twin Falls to go to the open house of this Temple. It was cool in there. Especially compared to outside where it was very hot. Dada carried me the whole time. I would have been good if he'd put me down.
My first ice cream cone. This was at a McDonalds that Dada used to stop at when he was younger and travelling to Utah.

In Lehi, UT, we stayed with Brittany. She is married to Andy and they have two kids - Parker (4) and Cohen (2). They have this fun roller coaster ride and I really liked riding it.
This is Brittany. This was at her parents'. She was very kind to me. She made her boys be quiet when I was trying to nap. 
This is Parker. Peter Parker? No. He is just dressed up like Spiderman. He isn't really him.
Aunt Tawnia came and saw us while we were in Lehi. This is after dinner, but before dessert. We went out for Brittany's birthday. We had a good time.
Cohen didn't know what to do with me at first. After testing his boundaries and learning his limits and how to share we became good friends. Good enough to kiss on the mouth.
On Wednesday we went to Salt Lake City. Aunt Tawnia watched me while Mama and Dada were gone for 3 hours. I think they went into that pretty castle back there.
That night I got to try swimming for the first time. I liked it, and dunking wasn't too bad. Mama and Dada kept a good watch on me. Mostly Mama though because Dada was too busy going down the big water slide.
On Thursday we went to a petting zoo. There were lots of farm animals there. I pet a goat and a cow. The miniature Sicilian Donkey was scary so I wanted nothing to do with it.
Here I am on my first pony ride. I wanted to go bare back, but Mama wouldn't let me, so I didn't want to go at all and bailed off before we made it all the way around once. We went on a wagon ride instead.

Thursday afternoon we drove down to Springville to see Aunt Tawnia. She took us to the park. I liked going down the slide with her. Dada was a little dramatic.
I loved Aunt Tawnia's potato chair. It was very comfy. Of course I had to sleep in my play-yard. Oh well.
On Saturday I went to the Boise Zoo with Ashley and Adam and Mama and Dada. On Sunday we drove home. I liked spending time with Adam and Ashley because they let me play with the twangy door stoppers and bring pine cones inside.
Here we are between Baker City and La Grande. We had a great time on our first family vacation.
